I've seen some people give this movie some credit, most notably Portman's performance. The reaction to The Goldfinch has been so terrible, I would not be surprised if songs are made from it.

I feel like Parasite has a very real chance of being nominated for Best Picture as well as Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

This was pretty good. It is your basic bread and butter historical drama, but it has flourishes of technical brilliance, and it further proves how Timothée Chalamet is destined to be one of the best actors of his generation.

They could have gone all-out and had some messy set piece doused in CGI, but I admired the simplicity of the setting. It was the most focused part of the movie. The rest of the movie felt like a cliff notes version of a 800 page book that JK Rowling was writing.
