Re: Netflix's Mindhunter

Best thing on Netflix. I love the little scenery chewing you get each episode by the actors being interviewed as the murders. Just got through the Manson episode and after watching OUATIH is was interseting to get a more dramatic dynamic of him and his family. Get to see why they had such a lasting ...

Re: Netflix's GLOW

Pretty good season, not as good as the first two. Show is better when it focuses on Ruth and Sam, not so much on the ancillary characters like Bash and Rhonda.
Not a lot of wrestling this season for a show about women wrestlers, and I'm not even that big of a fan of wrestling

Re: Rank the films of Quentin Tarantino

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Inglourious Bastards
3. Once Upon a time in Hollywood
4. Kill Bill Vol. 1
5. Reservoir Dogs
6. Jackie Brown
7. Kill Bill Vol. 2
8. Django Unchained
9. Hatful Eight
10. Death Proof.

Love the top 6; like 7 and 8; 9 and 10 are solid, they got better on a rewatch.

Re: Set Photos/Videos (Potential Spoilers)

So, I assume the filming in London is going to be in studio work, since no articles or posts have emerged for on location work. No extras casting calls either...

Looks great! Malick's usual great cinematography with an actual coherent narrative this time.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)

I don't know. Reading up on Lee from biographies and other articles, he was a guy who liked to talk big and brag about his fighting skills. So, him talking about how he'd beat Cassius Clay(Muhummad Ali) is not that out of character and then having a playful little contest with Pitt's character is no...

I don’t know.... this didn’t exactly blow me away. Was exactly what I thought it was going to look like. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Yep, it looks like what the other numerous versions have basically looked liked

Re: Teaser/Trailer #1

A problem is the teaser is attached to films that aren't really drawing a crowd for many people to see it. Hobbs and Shaw open alright and then dropped hard its second week and The Kitchen was always gonna be a massive dud. In contrast, Dunkirk's first teaser opened with Suicide Squad, a big hit.

Re: Teaser/Trailer #1

Hopefully, it will be online soon, because Warner Bros ain't gonna be able to market the movie by having people watching "The Kitchen" which really sucked it up at the box office this weekend.

Re: Set Photos/Videos (Potential Spoilers)

This isn't anything about actually filming. But during downtime, Nolan has been enjoying Italian desserts. https://www.positanonotizie.it/it/notizie-e-lifestyle-17/christopher-nolan-fa-il-pieno-di-dolcezza-in-piazz-1485/article The corresponding picture with the article makes it look like this has b...
